Building a Ministry Update 09-10-06

  Dear Friends and Partners,

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abuntantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 Let me tell you when I was in the Philippines recently I saw that verse being fullfilled.

When I arrived at the airport in Cebu I was met by a group of people that I had never met before. They were excited about me being there and wanted to work with us. One lady told me she had been working in Swetzerland for 12 years and the Philippines for 17 as a teacher and that she had a Phd in education. She went on to say now I work for you, and that she would be doing bible studies for the kids and wants to start a school. You can't believe how that makes you feel. Her sister and her husband said they hold adult bible studies in homes and would like to start them in our big building. I knew then I was living the Blessing of Abraham, being blessed and with such favor.

The bible says in Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the ruler over the Kings of the earth. To him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us Kings and Priest to His God  and Father, to Him be glory and  dominion forever and ever Amen. I am a King and Priest sent by the Father and I was in my domain. I except and I'm so greatfull for what God has given me. All of us have a domain, we have to listen to God and find out where it is.

In the month of July I was praying and told God I was  going to Texas in August to relocate my ministry headquarters there. God said no I want you to go to the Philippines in August. I said Lord I don't have the money for that trip but if you supply it I will go. Within 2 days we received a check for $2500, I knew I had heard from God. Then the money started coming and coming. For our ministry to receive that kind of funds so quickly was not common. My desire was to move to Dallas but Gods idea was far better and still is.

So here I was in the Philippines witnessing the results of my confessions, I can do all things through Christ, I have the financial favor of God, I'm the head not the tail, we will feed and care for thousands this year, I will bless people all over the world ,ect., I saw all these things happening. It was know longer a dream but reality. I had favor with the city councilors, had lunch with the vice mayor at her house (pray that she becomes mayor next election, she is a friend of Kids Need Love Ministry) judges, principals and teachers.

I now know how Ester felt, favor beyond belief. Agness a Sibonga city councilor was showing me a beach area when I saw 4 children that needed a home. She told me where the aunt lived and took me there. The aunt said she would let us take the kids home with us since the mother was not around and she could not care for them. The kids are (3boys and their sister)  2, 4, 6, and 11 years old. They are so cute. Pray for the parents, maybe one day they can take care of the kids. God gave them to us to care for them as he cares for us. The same day I met a women that had a baby I thought was a infant but later found out the child was 3 years old. The baby was not moving and the arms were the size of my fingers. she asked for our help so I prayed and God did a miracle, the baby started moving. The mother brought it to all 3 services I held.

I visited the Candaquit Elementry School and talked with the teachers (we provided school supplies for them before) and principal, I ask them what they needed. One teacher showed me her class and said she needed a ceiling fan so I bought 2, then of course the other 5 class rooms want them also. We need $35.00 each for them. The class rooms feel like there 100 degrees and a fan really help. I saw the conditions of the walls and God told me to paint them since it looks like they have not been painted in 10 years or more. We need to raise $600 for this. We will go in on a Saturday and paint all 7 rooms. The principal told me alot of the kids are mal-nourished (3 out of 10 kids die before reaching the age of 10 from malnourishment in the Philippines), I told them soon we will bring the kids to our land and provide lunch for them. When you see the needs I believe we are responsible, so we are adopting this school. I learned from Pastor Larry Huch the importance of making a impact on the community and being the light of the world. The  school is now making a list of their needs. 2 teachers brought their classes to our service on Friday night, what a blessing. We have plans of building a park with swingsets and slides for these kids on our land, they don't have a park now. Our land is like a beautiful shaded park now, I always saw people just sitting under the trees talking. The land is very speacial, thank you Lord.

So now its Friday and time for our first service, I was so excited. The people were comming by the hundreds but I was disapointed, they were mostly all kids. I'm sitting in front looking at hundreds of kids, how could I preach my sermons I had prepared to these kids. Where were the adults? God reminded me what I heard Pastor Tommy Barnet say he has a church in Phoenix of about 20,000, he said when you start a church you begin with the kids then you get the parents. God had done more then I could ask or think and blessed me with hundreds of kids. I started crying and thanking and praising  God for the kids, building and the land. When you our looking at and living a miracle it is some time to much to take. I could have never have done this without God, my abilities and knowledge is limited. Then the youth leaders from Sibonga Assembly of God show up and took over the service. They did a wonderful Job singing, praising and dancing with the kids.

Saturday night same thing happened but more kids and about 200 adults. Again the youth leaders came and did the service. Sunday the big day, barbque and service. The Assemblies came and brought their singers and dancers and then it was my turn to preach ( there was alot of adults and kids, maybe over 2000 ) The blessing of Abraham, I went through all the sciptures of how God blessed Abraham and that we received that blessing also through Jesus and we don't have to be poor no more. I then gave a alter call and said come, come, Jesus is calling, he wants to reverse the curse. Well they came running (100%) I had never seen such hunger for God like this before. I then asked the Assembly Pastor to lead them to the Lord. He lead hundreds to Jesus that day. Even the people that were drunk and on drugs came forward.  Most evangelical churches have about 100 people, we have over 500 all the time. This happened by faith and love. We now are having Friday night concerts for the youth, Saturday night movie night and satelliteTV (God Story, The Jesus Project, ect.) ( TBN, JCTV, SMILEOFACHILD) I put satellite in the our big building. When they installed the sattellite they said it included about 40 channels and I didn't need to pay for 7 month, then I needed to pay $10.00 per month. I said what if I don't pay and the installer said you will only receive the free channels. Of course I ask what ones are free and he said TBN, JCTV and SMILE OF A CHILD. Those are the only ones I wanted, thanks Jan and Paul Crouch and TBN partners. Sunday church and kids and adults bible studies. I have to say I had no idea the impact the ministry had made. If we pray and let God be God he will do miracles. You don't have to even look for the people to help, they will show up.

People would ask me what I was doing in the Philippines and what was my mission. I boldly declared I was there to break the curse of poverty cause by Idolatry (websters defines idolatry as the worship of idols or images; any excessive devotion), I told them every where the Spaniards went (Philippines, Mexico,South America, ect.)  the countries are poor today. The Spaniards brought the catholic religion to these countries. Just read the book of Deuteronomy and you will see what I'm talking about. I told them the catholic church and what they teach causes a curse on them and their land causing poverty. That anytime we let religion tell us how to pray and live we will get curses. I told them that God told me to teach them to pray according to what Jesus taught. Pray to the Father in Jesus name only, that the only way to the Father is through Jesus. That the bible doesn't teach us to pray to Mary or the Saints and have statues to pray to, in fact it forbids these things. The people thanked me for telling this and ask why no one ever told them this before. I said I didn't know, because I don't and I was there to teach that Christianity was not religion it is a personal relationship with Christ. That as they start praying to the Father in Jesus name and to remove the statues from their homes God would reverse the curse and blessed them. We can change things but we have to use the word, the truth.

I could go on and on but I'll stop for now. I want to thank everyone that made this trip possible. Thank you Keith Moore minstry for all the tapes, thank you Kenneth Copeland ministry for the books, thank you Heritage Christian Center of Jacksonville Fl. for your prayers and support.

Philippine Village land is almost paid off, we are believing God for $30,000 for the land and $100,000 for the buildings we need in phase 1. We only have use of the big building till the land is paid off.  Once we receive this we will move there full time and start building and planting . We also are raising funds for a budget for our new church (New Biginnings Christian Center a indepentant christian church) we estamate $800.00 per month. I will return to this wonderful place God is building, as He supplies the funds. I have alot to do there trainning our staff, I still work as a janitor for my living expences. Thank you again for your prayers and support. God bless you.  Darold Dotson     Jesus is Lord

It's never the cost of something, it's our faith is to small.
